Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf (/grilf/ /ftamf/ [whole; entire] [effort]) is a subtropical Small City located in the Gæ̈timukegéif Region of the Goblin Tribes.

The name Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf is derived from the Goblin language, as Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf was founded by Brë, who was culturaly Gnoll.

Climate

Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf has a yearly average temperature of 18°C (64°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 9°C (48°F). Overview

Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1184, by Brë. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Brë.

Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf was built using the conventions of Gnoll durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of spacious flagstone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The city rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Unfortuantly, these political statment focused walls are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A look around Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a city, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf long.

Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf has an animal control department which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the control, impoundment, and disposition of animals.

Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf. Cultural Notes

The locals are convinced that there is some terrible threat against them working from within their society. It may be a matter of dark sorcerers, foreign spies, traitorous neighbors, shape shifting monsters, or some other hidden evil. This evil may be a recent fear, or it may be an inherited peril they’ve always had to guard against. The danger itself may or may not exist, or if it exists it may not justify the steps being taken.

Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.

In Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf during thunderstorms, with each flash of lightning, everyone sees different monsters from the corner of their eyes.

The Herd Animal, Elk (Giant) near Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves destroying a prepared ritual vessel to channel Illusion energies of tier 3 via proclamations.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf was attacked by a renegade group of the army. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf lost 194 people, 333 livestock, and 74 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 222, when members of Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf's militia enacted an operation to recruit a particular solgiers group. The operation was complicated by an outbreak of plague which struck the ranks, killing many and laying low many more. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Ngahïpa-ftamf Xluwuf's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
